Lagoons

Lagoons

Lagoons are foil-lined ground basins. This type of manure storage is popular with large farms in Eastern Europe and Russia.

The investment costs are low depending on soil conditions and environmental regulations. In Germany, the restrictions vary in each federal state. They are continuously updated.

Increasing demands are made on agitation technology because lagoons, for the most part, cover an extensive area or show large footprints.

Due to the large surface, a great amount of rainwater is being collected and the emissions are rather high. Covering the lagoons with floating foils is possible.

The largest lagoon to be agitated, which we have been in charge of, was 70 meters wide, 120 meters long and 12 meters deep.

We do not offer the construction of lagoons.

We realize projects with a focus on liquid manure technology and biogas technology.
