We realize projects with a focus on liquid manure technology and biogas technology.
When the fermenter is to be fed with liquid the various substrates are mixed in the mixing tank, such as liquid manure, solid dung, corn and recirculation solutions. This mixture can be pumped into the fermentation tank several times a day.
An alternative would be for example a solids dispenser.
For this task the demands on agitating devices are higher compared to the operations in receiving tanks.
Our recommendations for pumps
The repositories for fermented residues have strongly varying filling levels. With that, the submersible motor mixers are once again first choice.
As the storages are more and more often provided with a cover agitators in an ATEX version are necessary.
The combination of submersible agitator and biogas mixer RW 1031 has the advantage that the RW 1031 model is delivered with a combination drive (electric drive and tractor drive), thus providing a significant performance reserve.

The tasks of a biogas agitator in the fermenter are
Moreover, there is a demand for low power requirement.
Our submersible motor pumps TBM or AT-MIX surely meet these demands. Turbomix, AT-Mix, Fermix, Rührmaster and Bo-Bu-Mix can be installed or removed even if the container is filled after having slightly lowered the fluid level.
Due to low rotary speed and large wings, the Bio-Mix is specifically appropriate for high dry matter contents.
In this case, a clear recommendation cannot be given. The choice of the right biogas agitator depends on the plant concept, the substrate, of the temperature inside the fermenter and not least of your personal preferences. Combinations of Bio-Mix and submersible agitators might be very useful.
The fact is that large agitators with shorter running periods will consume less power than small engines with longer running periods.
The same is also applicable for the secondary fermenter as for the fermenter. The tasks of an agitator in the secondary fermenter are
As a general rule, the secondary fermenter does not have to be fed and the degradation process has already reached an advanced stage. For this reason, less agitation output is needed compared to a fermenter.
